ogabodyworRx Openings, inversions and Core
An appropriate class for all levels: learn how to relax your body in long holds that create understanding, space and freedom. Hips ,shoulders and core strengthening will be the focus of this 90 min led class. Specially designed props will help us safely explore the relevance and alignment in shoulderstand and headstand.

YogabodywoRx introduction to arm balancing
This class is designed to introduce the advanced sequence of arm balancings to intermediate students of yoga. With the use of headstanding benches and forward bends students will build the strength, proprioception and openings needed to safely and therapeutically perform these asanas.

 
4:00 - 5:00

Sproutz Yoga
Bring your 4-7 year olds to a yoga class, taught by a kindergarten teacher. Learn, explore discover and breathe. 5 week registration begins November 21st.

YogabodywoRx Spine Strength Level 2 with Danielle Pechie
This class introduces the principles of safe back bending through accessible postures. Exercising and mobilizing the muscles along the entire back of the body from crown to tailbone are explored. Supported headstands and shoulder stands will be used to access the openings and strengthen the spine.

Spine strength,with the use of the critical alignment props we will explore proper therapeutic movement and seguay into spine strengthening work.

Power Align Yoga+ with Tanya Lee
For people with tight muscles, low back pain,athletes and beginners to yoga, learn safe and effective yoga basics to balance posture,stretch and strengthen.

YogabodywoRx Critical Alignment Yoga Therapy with Shane Miller
Join Shane Miller for an introspection on movement patterns. Most of this class is done with the use of the critical alignment props ,rich in instruction and focus. It is an excellent class for those interested in really slowing down and learning about their bodies and thought patterns. This class is presented as a moving meditation.

For people with a strong understanding of their bodies and a fair amount of yoga experience it turns upward dog upside down! Handstands, forearm balances full back bends and an introduction to drop backs and moving asana will be explored.

Play, discover, build strength from the inside out as we use our imaginations to explore yoga ( 6 week registered program). Dates Oct 12-Dec 16.

Yoga Nidra with Anita Athavale
Yoga Nidra, sleeping yoga, is a practice taught out of Bihar India. Bring your favorite blanket and pillow and recline comfortably while Anita leads you through a meditation. The idea is eventually to rest deeply but mindfully ( although for the first few weeks you will likely fall in and out of sleep) In a busy life a little rest and downtime is really important.

So far a favorite! Warm up with props then gradually into stretches that affect the hips ,legs and spine. Longer holds with specific detailed instruction will be presented in a logical flowing manner.

Astanga Basics by 6 week registration with Janet Hawkins
Join Janet Hawkins and learn how to cultivate and deepen your Astanga yoga practice in a safe and supported environment. Please call the studio to register for this 6 week program.
